what kinda tank or indoor pond would i need for

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I will take measurements of possible place for a tank.
see what I have to work with.
I am leaning on plywood, that way I can always take it with me.
leaves me the limits of doorway....unless I buy house....don't know yet.
so monster tank is out. :(
sorry.................. you monster freaks :D
Unless you guys know how to build a large tank with maybe a middle seam that could be cut and resealed to dismantle tank for moves/sell.
That is a interesting Question, most likely would be unstable.

thought about pool (walmart) with rays. I love seeing all of them on this site.
I noticed rays are not cheap and are risky.

if you have to move it you could just knock it down and save the glass window and then just rebuild it with new wood

You can definately build it with wood with absolutely no problem. It's just that wood won't last nearly as long which your case good because it's able to be broken down to take with you. All you need is alot of 4x4s and 4x6s lumber and alot of 1" 12 ply plywood and you are set. I say do it with wood just because of your situation. Plus you can keep the glass siliconed up when moving as with concrete you have to smash it down.

Agree.........smart
cost an arm and leg on epoxy IMO to seal wood then rip apart and rebuild from scratch.

So you've decided on a plywood tank... what about dimensions?
