What lights for a 6ft tank does everyone use?

I currently just use one 48" fluval glo t5 ho light on my 250g and get great results out of my anubias growing on my driftwoods

Do the people using led 36 inch strips have issues with them over hanging the tank? Pics would be great..

I have to stagger mine because of the legs. One day I may remove the legs over the center of the tank and fab something up but it wouldn't make a difference other than aesthetically on top of the tank which I only notice during feeding and maintenance for now I opt to be lazy.

I was running led strips on my 6'x6' them moved to 2-4' shop lights with t8 6500k bulbs...much better than the led strips

I ended up getting the marineland led / moon lighting. love the light these things give off...

Eventually doing a background, but for now looking at wires and hoses will have to do

Did you go with two 36 " strips? It looks good. I've got a 6 foot light on mine. Not sure of the brand but it's got a time with blue light and a moonlight too

Yes, went with 2 36in light strips.

I don't think the wife will be ok with shop lights in her living room......blocking those family photos
