I built a canopy to house 3 shop lights (needs finished and painted still.) Two are staggered and one is in the middle.
What lights for a 6ft tank does everyone use?

Wife is already giving me a hard time about the tank. LOL, as you can see it is relatively large for the house. She didn't know i bought the tank till i pulled into the driveway with it

I agree, however there arn't many affordable 72in lights on the market. The marinelands are 158.00 for both 36in strips. I had a 48in one on my 75 gallon for sometime and loved the lighting and never had any issues...
I think his set up with the 2 strips looks absolutely fine. One of the posters wasn't even sure it was 2 X 36" strips. Plus, 36" is more versatile.....you can always move it to a smaller tank. IMO
I used to run two LED pods in the canopy on my 125. I liked it a bit dimmer and natural flickering and that worked out well. Question for a 102 x24x30 tank freshwater only no plants should I use 2 48inch quad t5ho or 2 48inch 6 bulb t5ho or 2 green element 6500k 3 watt please help having trouble posting
