Go with the AC110, you can't beat the mechanical filtration which is easily cleaned once a week.
Sounds promising as I am looking mainly for mechanical . The eheim doesn't have too much turnover but it does a great job for bio.

I believe if you use the CK code on Drfoster's you can get the AC110 really cheap :D...Well I guess that is not working anymore :( The price is showing the same "in cart" oh well it was nice while it lasted....

sounds like I missed out how cheap was it ?

AC110 will filter quicker than a 2215.

Ac 110 Is a great filter. I still remember buying them for $35 new at petco/petsmart back a few years. They use to have them at that price on their website so I would just print it out and bring to the store and have them price match it. Oh btw they are still working.

Can anyone tell me when and why they raise the price so high?

They rose the price so high because
1. Its a good filter
2. People love it so they increase the price to make money.

I bought mine for 40 bux at my local flea market.

Great Filter. Then again I used to have a whisper filter before it

So it comes down to your decision bro. Mostly because ive seen your knowledge all over this forum and your website. Would you add another eheim or an ac110 ? Or if neither what would you do under 200 bucks
