So it comes down to your decision bro. Mostly because ive seen your knowledge all over this forum and your website. Would you add another eheim or an ac110 ? Or if neither what would you do under 200 bucks

Cool, glad to see my input was helpful :nilly::irked::D
LOL if its any consolation I got the AC110 paid an arm and a leg at petsmart :grinno:

Setting it up tonight

When I first got into fish 5-6 years ago I had an Emp400 that I currently use on a 75g. Liked them so much that when I set up my aunts tank I bought one for their tank. I wanted to add another filter to my 75 (just a growout tank) so I bought a second Emp400 and it was super noisey, returned it and got another one same thing. Picked up an AC110 and it was quiet and worked great. The older Emp400 were good, I don't like the newer ones. So I recomend the AC for a good HOB, have it on my 75g with the older Emp400 and one on my 180gal that also has 2x XP3.

Nice setup you got I have to see it one day when we do a shared buy. :)
Up for some kens food soon ?

im sure you will be satisfeid-especially for what you are looking for.good turnover rate and cleans the upper/middle column of the tank quick. Also like the water movement from it.

I hate my AC110's ... on anything shorter than a 24" tall tank... If you use Sand then it will not only get pulled up into the intake but it will also get blasted all over the bottom till you have nothing but glass  Actually I have a bunch of them around here and think the world of them.. they really are the Best HOB Filter out there... I know some people don't think much of their bio capability but I've had good results from them when I slow them down and replaced the HUGE Sponge with a smaller one (Cut the big original into 1/3 and added Bio max into it till it was almost piled out the top :) )
