What Mixes Well With Nics?

In the middle of my tank change up and went to buy some more Silver Dollars and ended up coming home with some + a 5" very colurful male(?) Nic for £3!

What fish mix well with these long term?

I want to keep peacful stuff with it like Rotkeils,Red head tapojos etc
 
Haha no i dont wanna mix it with Old Worlds :P

I was thinking...

1 x Rotkeil Severum
1 x Red Spotted Severum
1 x Nic
2 x Red Head Tapajos
4 x Silver Dollars
10 x Smaller Dithers
1 x Bristlenose Plec

How does that sound?
 
Sounds like a nice peaceful tank.
Go for what you like and what you want.
When I ask on here I just go for ideas and end up going for what cathes my eye.
 
I was just double checking they wasnt nasty in anyway....since i bought him earlier he has already put my Green Terror in its place (which is the same size!) lol thye lip locked for about 20mins then the Nic won.

He hasnt bothered anything else tho.

My Terrors fault for picking the fight i suppose...he was the biggest fish in teh tank until i bough the nic..the nic is a bit chunkier.

Gonna rehome the the GT and the male convict soon...probably gonna keep the female con...cos shes pretty and from experience i foudn them pretty placid.
 
Off to trade in my Vieja Argentea and Jack Dempsey now...thye said they would give me full price so i will probably come home with a new Sev or Tapajos or a shoal of small dithers.

Any suggestions on the dithers guys? I want something thats around 2-3" and colurful.
 
Just got a Rotkeil for £5 :) and they did a straight swap for my Vieja Argentea and Jack Dempsey for 1 Red Head Tapajos.

Would of got more but they so fricken expensive (£20 each) ($40)

Could i get 5 Red Heads? i plan to get 1 now and then

And would Rosy barbs be a good small dither for my tank?

My tank currently is

1 x Sev
4 x Silver Dollars
1 x Nic
1 x RHT
1 x Bristlenose Plec
1 x Female Convict

Want to add..

1 x Red Spotted Sev
4 x RHT
10 x Small dithers

maybe a gold nugget plec
 
Any suggestions on bright coloured small dithers that the Nic or Sevs wont eat?

Also my Nic is beating up my new Red Head.... will this settle down?
