In the Amazon I frequently ate pirarucu (arapaima), tambaqui, tucunare (peacock), all pirañas, lots of cats.

White piraña is the tastiest of all IMO.
I ate a snake once, snails, frogs insects.

I even ate at McDonalds, eeugh!

I've ate my pacu, flowerhorn, silver aro, redtail catfish and shovelnose in a span of about 10 years. and also freshwater hammerhead shark. Mind you I didn't kill them and ate them, they died naturally not from diseases and I had to just taste them before throwing them away just so I know how they taste.... yum!!!!!!
