Barn how many tanks do ya have?? are thay part of your job:nilly::eek:?

Darn how many tanks do ya have?? are they part of your job?

I have over 12 tanks at the moment and not really part of my job. For the record....some guys here have a dozen more native species than me at this time, I just like to inventory from time to time.

I can add bantam sunfish to the list (thanks Mike!), remove a few and add several others.

I'm like many others here (off the deep end with natives).

I do believe I have native envy...
Anyway, I have a single 40 long tank, in which currently resides a mix of native and exotics:
12 Rainbow darters(4 male, 8 female)
1 very large Johnny darter(sex unknown, but it's pretty dull, so female?)
12 blacknose shiners
4-6 central mud minnows(they are never all in the open at once..so I honestly don't know how many there are currently. Started with 7, think I likely lost one right off..and never see more then 4 at any one time. I've never found a dead one, however....
4 [SIZE=-1]Otocinclus catfish.
I used to have 6 amano shrimp, right up untill I got the darters. I've never found a dead one..but within a week, I ceased seeing them. I suspect foul play....
I also used to have a ton of pond snails, but within a week of getting the darters, I ceased to see them. I again suspect foul play...
Things I"d like to do/add:
Right now, I have about a third of the tank heavily planted. Unfortunatly I used native plants..which are now all going dormant and dying off, and therefore the bioload has spiked, causing no end to the cynobacteria. I am going to have to pull the native plants and go commercial, I'm afraid. I was told this would happen, but was too stubborn to listen! Fish don't care about the cyno(indeed, they seem to enjoy the cover) but it's ugly as hell. Anyway, weather is supposed to suck tomorrow, so I"l have a day to kill, so may rework the tank a bit and clean it up.
I'd like to run more powerheads for more current, and add some hill stream loaches(they just look so darn cool!).
