What natives do you keep?

Are your green sunfish aggressive? Because mine is very aggressive!

To many poeple running in and out and checking my fish the poor thing kept on running into the side walls and eventually died, it got spooked to much, next time next i will have a separate room for it or them because i really want to have em, maybe i can find someone who is selling any grass or redfin.

Yep. Only towards other fish. I have a sexual pair, so there really isn't much aggression between them. Now I have one in a "rehab" tank because he has a fin injury and the other is enjoying himself in my outdoor rosy red breeding tub. I decided I didn't want rosy reds anymore. I want bona fide fatheads. I read an article that said they could be hybrids, and I hate hybrids.

You have green sunfish that mate in a tank?

No. Mine are kept outside. I only brought one in to help its injury heal faster. I said I put one in my rosy red breeding tub. They will, however, breed in captivity. It really isn't difficult at all. Just keep them well fed and in the 72-75F range and they will breed when they come of age.
