What natives do you want?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you are able to supply the necessary equipment, there are lots of worthy candidates.

There are Natives suited to most anyones tank size, and if taken within the guidelines of each states laws, no-one is looking over your shoulder. :naughty:

I like my smallies, so i guess i don't have to worry about someone looking over my shoulder as I already have them.

Snakehead :D but that's an invasive species so I guess that doesn't count... If I was picking an original native I'd have to say either a sturgeon or a pike.

I've never had a desire to keep natives and I also understand that the authorities frown upon such practices. I'm not judging anyone who keeps natives. I just think that there are enough true hobby fish to keep me happy.

But see to us the natives are true hobby fish (and to many such as myself they are the ultimate hobby fish), and as long as you stay within state guidelines it isn't frowned upon

"The Authorities" Do Not frown on the taking and keeping of any native species not listed as threatened, as long as they are taken within the guidelines of each State regulations and the proper license are obtained.
