what pet fish are also fish that can be eaten for human consumption?

i wouldent see a reason why you couldent eat almost any freshwater fish if the need arose. however i dont see a neon tetra having all that much meat on them

want to add sting rays are edible also - malaysian style is delish. but not sure what type of rays they use for cooking. probably not the same as our pet rays, right?

Get several hundred of them, dry em out and salt them, maybe a little chile powder.... Yum

just had salmon for dinner from shoprite. excellent piece of filet. mother got it on sale for $6/lb with $1 & $1 coupons!!

but salmon is not a pet fish so doesn't count!

p.s. advise not buying live or frozen tilapia for consumption if imported from china. keep it as a pet!
