get a chinese dwarf hamster. Those things stay tiny. If you like creepies and crawlies I would have to agree that you stick to some type of bug.

SEA MONKEYS
yeah nothing but that or a small spider....
and absolutly not a tomato or pacman for any period of time

leopard gecko would work for a while, but i would probably move it up to a 10 gallon eventually

you could probably throw some anoles in there, maybe a firebelly toad

please don't put any of the above suggestions in anything that small..

a smaller species of tarantula would be fine, maybe a chilean rose, or pink toe.

That tank size is pretty much worthless. I keep crickets in the 5 gallon that I have, lol. I'd say some sort of invert is about your only option. A tank that size also has some potential to work out as a cherry shrimp tank.

It seems I have the same situation with an empty 5 gal. At fist I was thinking hermit crabs but after doing research seems they would need much more floor space, so that ends that idea. Looks like the betta tank will be set up once again, only better than before.

How bout a hamster or a rat.. LOLzz......

rats need well ventaled space

You could spend $10 and get a 10 gallon (or $20 for a tank w/ top)

a firebelly toad would work.
