What pet Reptile should I put in for my 5 gallon tank.

for new-comers, anoles are very easy to handle and would fit in the 5 gallon tank. leopard geckos are also good for beginners but would most likely need to move on to a 10 gallon. leopards do not really climb so it is good in hight and they are easy to take care of and maintain.

Correcion: anoles DO NOT like to be handled or are easy to handle for that matter. They also arent suitable for such small tank and eiter are leo geckos. However some small stick insects would fit in there just fine:popcorn:

anoles are too active for a 5 gallon, a ten gallon would be the bare minimum but a 20 high would be better

first off there is no way that you could possibly keep any species of anole in that sized tank. possibly a hatchling green or brown anole for maybe a month. but thats it. just invest 15$ and get a 20gal. high tank. then you can keep a pair of anoles in it ,but nothing more than that. also be sure to research A LOT before you purchase anything. poison dart frogs are not a beginner frog either.
 
get a green tree frog.i have 2 in a 20long and all they do is sit in a corner anyway
