This is a pit bull that meets all standards. He is locked up at the animal shelter. I really want to take him out, but I dont own a ghome of my own. And when renting, most homes dont accept pets. Sucks...

This dog is really loving and quiet btw. When I come, he wags his tail and leans on the gate for me and my gf to pet him. When all the other dogs barks and go crazy, he just stays still. He don't do nothing but wants to be loved. What a dog..

Nice pitbull although I have to say that I am not a very big fan of them. I also like visiting the shelters and checking out the dogs. I got a german sheperd - retriever mix 2.5 years ago which is still at my dad's place. I'm a dog type of man and will always be. I've always had dogs except now that I live in an apartment.

Sounds lika a helluva dog! Hope he finds a good home!

Makes me wonder why he's in a shelter.

Hopefully he gets adopted. I find it sad that many stereotype pits and beleive all make poor pets . Many like this one deserve a loving home and would show its owners much love in return.

He is a beautiful dog and seeing him there is very sad..sometimes they end up in shelters because their owners end up in jail, hospital or passed away and the family doesn't want to take the dog, sometimes it is simply they were running along the street and sometimes it is the homeowners insurance was cancelled on the owner because insurance companies are not insuring homes with pit bulls.. .. the shelter should have some honest information about why he was picked up.. i hope this dog gets lucky, hate seeing this happen.:(

the chinese believes if a stray dog comes to you, it'll bring great wealth.

i say you find a way to get this dog.

I did. I've been making plans to take him out. I can afford the fee, but a lasting home with him to stay with me for the rest of his life is not guaranteed. When you don't own a home, it's hard.
Even tough it seems we werent meant to be, but Im still trying to figure out something.

A police found him on the streets and brought him in.

he is short btw. prolly 15-16" in height and looks about 40-60 lbs. Not the big monster kinds. That's how a real pit bull should be. Compact and diesel.
