What real pitbull should look like.

great lookin dog glad to see there are some that still conform to standards. ears were cropped for fighting purposes in the day now i think its more cosmetic. both cropped and unaltered are allowed. if the dog has no bite scars hes not a fighter (or the best ever) give him a chance. btw arkmann there is no proof of a pit bull having more psi in their bite than any other similarly structured (jaw line) examples would be boxers, english bulldogs, etc. i too was not a fan of pit bulls until i went lookin for a dog. after exhaustive research in a house with small children this breed of dog was recomended by the likes of purina pet breed selector and others. a true pit will show no human aggression only animal aggression and that is up to a responsible owner to control. sorry for the rant just tryin to clear a tarnished name.
Pit bulls have been proven to be the most gentle of dogs, even better disposition than a lab or any other dog. Kinda crazy huh? Forgot where that was written though. XP
gentle I dont think, but loving yes. They are energetic so it's hard for them to be gentle. I dont know how much more loving a dog can be than a pit bull. I've own two before and caring for one now so I should speak. And I still miss my first one. I cried a river for my first one. I loved him so much. He was a chocolate pit with a granted second life. I ran him over completely with my car when he was 8 weeks old and he lived and healed naturally. Never loved any pet to that extent before in my life. And it's all for the return of how much he loved me. That's how loving one can be.
