What reptiles would be good for a 60 gallon tank. I would also like to try breeding so if theres some kinda of reptile out there that will go good in a 60 and is easy to breed let me now. Other than that tell me what you think. I would also like to know the care level(make some kind of indication) Thanks anything will help.

anoles
:)
most geko species, small lizards, dwarf monitors, some tortoise, small turtles, milk snakes. there are plenty of things, but i dont think youll have much luck breeding most of them

Dwarf monitors, no. Anoles, no.

I would go for a pair of beardies. What are the dimensions of the tank? For them, floor space as well as decent depth are important.

in another thread, he said they were 48"L x 13"W x 24"H....so in that regard, I wouldn't even suggest beardies.

A pair of large ratsnakes might do well. Amazon tree boas, perhaps?...

I use to have a breeding trio of Anolis carolinensis in a 55 gallon tank. It wasn't the best setup for anoles but they thought is was good enough to breed in.

If I were you I would go with some sort of ground gecko. Take a look at Viper geckos, Leopard Geckos, African Fat-tails, Madagascar Ground Geckos, Frog-eyed Geckos and so on. Most of them readily breed in captivity.

I can never picture a tank given dimensions... I dont know why, sorry. When I think of gallons I think horizontal...

The tank is 48X12X24 (LWH)

Nice suggestion with the panthers. A trio of any type of terrestrial geckos would work great. Knobtails, leos, fatties, frog eyed, spiders, vipers, helemets, webfoots, Japanese leos...
