I plan on putting them all over the house. The garage is out because it gets too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. Plus, I like to be able to park my cars in there. My barn is still not restored and will be a workshop when finished. The basement is out until it gets finished.

my 225 is in my bedroom only take i have. may help a friend out who needs a bigger tank and adopt out my fish and down size to a 135-180 gallon aquarium

I don't understand "fish room".

I have a "Fish House"

none of the above. I bought 2 consecutive properties. I live at 206. The 8000 sq/ft hatchery is at 204.

Someday I'll have enough scratch to drop on a house just for my fish!

I think that my house is turning into a fish house. I just need to figure something out. My wife said to put up a wall in the garage, but I don't wan't to mess up the ceiling/room by putting up a wall. I'm sure buyers wouldn't wan't to purchase a house where you cant even park in the garage. The good thing about the garage is that I could get the 700 gallon that the other guy linked.

i've got most of my tanks in the livingroom and entry way.. but there is one in the garage, 2 in the family room, 1 in my room and 1 in my son's room too.

it's easy to sleep with the aquarium in your room.. it keeps the room at a constant temp so you don't need as much heat and keeps the air from drying out in the winter. AND.. if you put a cushion or a thick cloth under the filter and air pumps they make almost no noise..

i keep my tanks at the third floor, this is where the library and the computer is
it is like a recreation room or a room to relax

If you build the wall with removal in mind... it will barely be noticable when you remove it. It won't need to have any structural support except holding itself up... a little spackle over the screw holes and 2 minutes worth of painting and no one would ever know it was there...
