My fish hate the glass magnet and hide while it is sliding back and forth on the glass. They also hate when I vacuum around their tank! The light from the vacuum's powerhead must scare them or something. As soon as I stop they quickly come back out again. What scares your fish?

Vacuum might be the vibrations from the motor. Or the sound.
Mine hate it when the lights turn on in the morning. Always freaks them out for a bit.

you put your hand in my tank and your gonna get bit.. put the net in and fish are laying sideways in the back corner for sure...
My FH freaks out when I put a tape measure against the glass to get an estimate measure on him. For the other tanks, its definitely the net.
