well seeing as how you have a backyard, why not use the summertime to breed TONS of livebearers. just get a whole ton of swords, mollies, guppies and throw them in a makeshift pond. they would be more valuable than mosquito fish.

you can get 45 gallon rubbermaids at walmart for cheap. another option is that lowes sells hardshell pond containers for a bit more but more selection and bigger. also, tractor supply store has troughs you can get but they would be pricierall_or_nothin;3219338; said:mosquito fish are CHEAP. thats the problem. btw where do u get rubbermaids?

well they don't have to be bullet proof. they hold water and that will get through the summer. if i had a yard i would try this idea out. lowes sells a 91 gallon pond shell for about 75 bucks. you could fill that thing with sooooo many fish! just make sure you put a net over it and you could easily have a ton of fish by the end of summer

sound great. but i do see a small problem. wat if at the end of summer, i have all these fish, but i cant sell most of them and im left with a bunch of fish frozen in blocks of ice? atleast with the mosquito fish there are always ppl that want large quantities of them.
