What Should I Do

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
haha 15 fish in a 55 :) no need to repeat advice

if stuff is floating or the water is cloudy, add carbon to the filter, also upgrade your filter if possible to an aquaclear of some sort, id shoot for the for the 110

Were all of these fish in the 29G tank? Did you put the filter from the 29G tank on the 55?

well i tested my water and it is fine the only thing i did not test for was the amonia. i did put stress coat in the water when i first set up the tank and then again when i did a water change

ok i went to my local fish store and the water tested out fine and i have no amonia in my tank at all. so i do not need to move my fish over to another tank and the fish does not have ick.

i had a similar issue but the ammonia will spike. trust that.

what do you have as substrate?

what temp?

and how much do you feed.

I would leave everything as is except for the fact that I would cut down feeding for a couple weeks to make sure the tank is "eased: into having a larger biological load. That would be the simple fix.

ok i did a water changed put new filters in my tank and i also bought a 80 gallon sponge filter to the tank and added some carbon. so now i have the aqueon 55 gallon power filter and a 80 gallon sponge filter

Now you just need to keep a close eye on things. Just watch those parameters.
