What should I get for my 300 gallon pond?

I really think some kinda bullhead would be the best for you.... They don't get nearly as large as some of the other predatory cats, and can still be quite aggressive and I have heard they can easily be trained to take food from your hand like some of the bigger cats... I really like the spotted and yellow bullheads....

i have an E-cat you can have ...shockingly great with other tankmates.lol...ok that was kinda cheezy...seriously i guess they get like 30"+ and you can get kicks out of having your buddies touch it...
