What should I get in a 10g

As you might know, I'm unfortunately having trouble breeding convicts in my 10g. I might return the male and get a small pair. If not, what else can I get in a 10g? I know there are many tetras and such, but is there anything rare and interesting? I know 10 gallons is small, but it's all I have availabe.

Just pick what you like, and go with it.

get fancy guppys or chary barbs i have one that is crazy agressive he kills guppys all the time so i am getting him his own tank soon.

I might get a male guppy and a couple females. The problem I have with those fish is that they eat their babies.

Get some Apistogramma Angazii or German Blue Rams. Any of the Apistos will do fine in a 10 gallon. Apisto Cockatoo are really fasinating fish.

Yeah, I thought of that. There is also a nice pair of rams in the store. But I feel the need to breed a fish...maybe fancy guppies I'm thinking. Should I get a male and 2 females?

a pair of kribs!!!! they are awesome, so much personality for such a little fish, and they look awesome too.

if not that i suggest pea puffers or go brackish with a figure 8 puffer.
