My first was a 10 gal with two goldfish I had in elementary school. Not surprisingly they died after a few months. I tried again with goldfish in a 55 gal 10 years later and still have the tank. My next "tank" after that was a koi pond, and they've only gotten smaller since.

My first tank was a 10g corner tank with thai red clawed crabs. then a few years later I used the same tank to keep 2 goldfish and a weather loach. after that it was a 20gal tropical community, which then progressed to Tangynikan tank, then my dad got a new tank for marine, and i got his old tank as an upgrade. from a 20g tangynikan to a 90g breeder tangynikan. from there i just played with different kinds of cichlids over the years.
A couple of 10gals my mom had in the basement.
They had been there for years, Since she lost all her fish during a winter power outage.
They were antiques, Stainless steel frames and hoods, With slate bottoms, And bubbler filters.
All on a nice wrought iron stand. It's 50 - 60 yrs old now. And my brother is storing them for me.
