What size was your first REAL tank?

15gal back in the day, ugf and a small hob (aquaking maybe?), gouramis, whiptail cat (lori not farlowella), crayfish, african clawed frog.

I got a 40gal second hand and no word of a lie it had easily 100+ plattys and a common plec that was over a foot long in it!

It took me months to get rid of the existing inhabitants before I could start getting it how I wanted it.

My first tank (aside from an unfiltered 2.5gal goldfish tank) was a 5gal metal framed tank that I kept with live plants and livebearers and tetras. Undergravel filter and lighting was a fluorescent desk lamp lol...

Burt :)

my family had a 6g bowfront with two angelfish, two common plecos, three neon tetras, a zebra danio, some cories, and a comet goldfish.

my first tank was a 5g hex with a betta and snail

classic ten gallon eqiupped with Whisper power filter and lime green gravel.

55 gallon with red eared slider......... then later filled it up added a fluval 304 (as well as undergravel) and changed to a 10 year olds version of a predator tank with 5 jaguar cichlids and some lima shovelnose and 3 needlefish

20g with about 20 african cichlids, a corie cat, a bulldog pleco, and some other fish (can't remember what else was in it since this was 10+ years ago)
