what species of fish have you had the most losses .. in otherwise healthy tanks ??

for me it seems to be plecos .... they seem the most sensitive to changes in the water.....
As daft as this sounds and not in the least bit monster, Cardinal tetras, closely followed by neon tetras. No matter how well the tank they are going in is, PH matched, temp matched, full of healthy fish they always die, and I mean always within the first day or so. I did manage to keep 2 out of 40 alive for a week once, then they died, they are my nemesis.

One of the tanks I've always wanted to do its something like a plated 90g with a school of 400 tetras, it's never going to happen:nilly:

On the other hand I find plecos are one the most hardy fish I've ever kept

:headbang2I''m so glad it's not just me

plecos and wolf fish...

in the begining i could never keep german blue rams alive..... dont know why but i never tried them again...

Plecos :(

Currently I have two 12 inchers, but man, these guys die easy! I just lost a 17'' monster a few months ago for no reason whatsoever :screwy:

Anyways,
cheers,
art

Cardinal tetras for me. Impossible!

 it seems the humble tetra is the achiles heal of mfk:ROFL:

i just got 20 black tetra this morn so will see howlong they last

Cardinal tetras. they are eaten a lot but even when i try to keep a school in a non predacious tank they always die. also dicrossus are insanely hard to keep alive.
