Pleco's have been the hardiest fish for me, back in the day when I first started fish keeping when I was 10 and didn't know about the nitrogen cycle and was very lax with water changes my Pleco's were the only one's that survived, on a separate occasion when my heater broke and stuck on, again the Pleco's were the only one's survived. They must be harder in the UK

channa pleuropthalma for me so far i have lost 12.
i paid for the first batch of 6 from a friends lfs and put them in my tank and within 2 months i lost the lot, it got even worse as i paid for a second batch of 6 and waited until they arrived and decided to pick them up a week later.
i actually watched one of my fish die in front of my eyes in the lfs, it was swimming one minute and the next it was dead.
the other 5 lasted a month and i have stopped trying now.
red tailed barracuda (ace falcatus) lost 6-7----and scomberiodes payara. I have given up with the scombs and i will continue with the falcatus's until they are extinct, evrytime they get some at my lfs's.
clown loaches for shure, i cant keep the damn things alive lol.
i couldnt kill my gibby pleco if i tried, hes been with me from the beginning, has been through a few tank nukes and never shows any signs other than more hunger.
