What species is this?

Not being a snakehead fanatic, but I do believe that species is Channa gachua...
 
That is a Channa sp.assam,also called lal cheng.
Often sold as blue bleheri.
Its a subttropical mouthbrooding channa from northern india

The pictured fish is mine!
It is one of my Channa sp.redfin.

Not too much info on it yet, but has a slight stewartii look to it in person.

Similar but not gachua.
The Indian gachuas that are similar have a red line under the eye, these have a kind of flash/smear.
Also, the gachua lack the black spotting on the face and the length of the body.
