Only in fin color.
Body color is completely different, black spots along the head and body.
The pectoral fins are also the wrong color.
There is no Red on the outer edge of the anal fin too.
I also believe the dorsal fin ray count is smaller on the Gachua.
I keep mine in a tank with Jet black gravel, and black backing sheet. This makes all the fish in it have darker looking skin.
In a nuetral gravel/backing tank the body is a very pale sky blue/grey.

The problem with people labeling SH is often a new species is found, not sure where to put it? Boom, Channa Gachua.

There is s few members here with Redfins, one of whom has sent a clipping off for anaylisis. Will be great to get the results back!

Please compare all I have said above with this photo and your Gachua picture:

Are you sure those are redfins?
They actually look more like the Gachua posted earlier.
Yours seem to have no spotting and the body/head shape is different.

just cleaned tank...so everyones pissed, but tiger stripes & red will come back on pair.

Gorgeous Krabi there.

They are similar when it comes to fin colors.
The face and head shape is different as is the black speckles.
It also lacks the Gachuas thick stocky body.
In person I would most definatly say my RFs look very similar to the stewartiis I used to own.

This photo is what I believe to be my male:

hi
just a couple of pics of one of my spec redfins as its matured, looks nothing like a gachua now,dr ralph britz seems to think it of the stewarti complex and has a fin clipping of mine so when he has the time he will id it and i will post the results.if it is a stewarti it will be the first to be found outside of india so its a big thing in the channa world.
