What Syno is this?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
guess your extremly lucky-
it is well know that they get along pretty well with other types of synos but not there own kind, I wouldnt mind seeing a picture, they are great looking fish and It would be cool to see a few large ones all together.

a lot of the agression can be dissepated if they grow up together. like most fish raised together they learn to live with each other at a young age. but just keep in mind sometimes the fish that get along for years can up and hate the others out of nowhere so don't be suprised if for no reason at you have some fish with wounds one day. the bigger the tank the better for that problem too. if they can all have their territory they're happier.

I agree with you completely. If most types of fish grow up together they can get "use" to each other. But Bogwood said they ranged from 4-8 inches which would suggest they did not grow out together. Also I have seen tanks of these in LFS when really small I see no agression but once tehy reach about 2.5 inches they start to clash. I do not see them much after that size in one tank, maybe the aggression stops after 3-4 inches?. I just assumed because ppl moved them to separate tanks becasue the bigger tehy get the more damage they do. And big tank deff helps but Bogwood says they all stay on one piece of wood, which just sounds even more unusual.
