What The Hell Is This?

It seems that (judjing by the photo properties) that Aqua Bonito have used an Ornatipinnis photo.
The thing is, the fish in question is believed to be pretty young, and is at the 10-12" mark.
The orange body markings and black and white on the fins on this picture are on the "mystery" fish, but the color is very black.
Guess I will have to wait till I go back there and get a few pics.

If it wasn't for it being 12 inches long, based off of your initial description I would've guessed that these could have been the harcourtbutleri's that Pascal described. So now it supposedly has orange speckling on it's body on top of the jet black base color which is supposedly young at 12 inches long. Dammit Man! Sounds like a nice channa, please get a picture soon, and ask if they're willing to export (I don't live too far away) ^__T If you were anywhere else in the world I would have some major doubts as to the accuracy of your claim, but when it comes to fishkeeping the Japanese people really have first dibs on stuff like that coz they're willing to pay top dollar.
Quick update:
I managed to get a pic of the "mystery" fish today.
Small pic, and not very clear as I had to do it quickly and secretly on my mobile. (sign in shop says no photos!)
Here is the pic:
After seeing it again, the fin markings and the orange stripey bits are there (feintly) from the punctua pictured earlier, but the colors look very different.
The size is definately 10-12".
If this can help me get some info that would be great.
I am so wanting to buy this SH, but I want some decent info first so that I can assure his future well being.
