75 gallons not a bad sized tank, I would order more meeki 6-8 in total, get a bunch of swordtails and your done.

Thorichthys do better when there the only cichlids in the tank as they arnt very aggressive. I have some of my thorichthys with other cichlids, mainly Cryptoheros, Although my Mixteco blues are with 2 pairs of panamensis, and iam thinking on moving the panamensis as they are too aggressive and dominate.

I have swordtails with my thorichthys because, they are found native with them, they act as dithers for the thorichthys and also provide live food for them.

Actually gonna keep them with carpintis.. they are 1" and gonna grow out together. Some loaches and plecos with some danios. I saw quite a few pics of carpintis and meeki together, specifically one fellow from aquariacentral. The tank was awesome. Hoping to recreate a community like that.

I had some of these a while back. Great fish. Kept them in ph 7.6 and warm water due to the fact I live is So Cal. One of my all time favorites.

cichlid friend, thorichthys aureus is not hard to find, I recently was offered F1 Aureus 'blue' but turned them down because of space issues.

I wouldnt put caprintis in with meeki, once the carpintis is mature and has size over the meeki, he will bully them badly. Maybe try a some honduran redpoint? sajica, fish similar to them as your risking your meeki putting them with a carpintis.

altum your fish are T.aureus 'blue', nice fish.
