I only have one 'pet store' firemouth in a 125, it is the smallest of the adult cichlids, but not really to aggressive, although it bosses around a much larger Dimidiochromis kiwinge
What Thorichthys species do you own?

I just got 4 of these Thorichthys. F1 Meeki- Rio Subin
They're about an inch at most and already showing surprising color. Right now growing out in a 55 with some other small cichlids that will soon be rehoused.
In the past I've kept:
Thorichthys 'mixteco blue'
Thorichthys 'mixteco gold'
Thorichthys 'mixteco green'
Thorichthys aureus 'gold'
Thorichthys helleri

Gotcha. These are meeki F1 Subin as well and about the same size as what you were saying so it's likely they did come from the same source then. At any rate, extremely colorful fish
