how about medium size snakehead species?i'm pretty sure they hold their own at your tank

Not bad! I was thinking the same too. What kind of snakehead would you suggest? Biggest possible in my tank please.

you can try golden cobra snakehead and dark african snakehead which have size range from 35-4o cm.if you want something big and mean,try giant snakehead and northern snakehead,since they can grow up to 1 meter long.BUT,becareful,giant snakehead can deliver a nasty bite with their teeth.and i don't think your fish can hold their own with a giant snakehead since giant snakehead are really aggressive..but,it's up to you when it come to choosing the fish.good luck

you're welcomeyes,in indonesia they are very rare too,except the giant snakehead which are usually sold as livefeeder for aro.i am pretty sure in your country snakehead are legal..you live in philippine,right?

Yup, I just went to cartimar, a place where rare fishes are being sold, I couldn't find anything. My uncles imports from indonesia so maybe I have a chance to be able to own one.

2 gaint gouramis? No wonder your water quality failed. Not trying to flame, but those gouramis are about all you got for the top and middle in my opinion. Maybe some bichirs for the bottom but that's it.

Its ok man because I know my filter sucks and I just upgraded it last night. I think my tank is cycling again cauz my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are rising again. But for my Giant Gouramis, till how big would they grow? Can I still add another bichir aside from Senegal and Delhezi? My width is just. Thanks mate!

4ft overhead filter. Components are biohome 1 kg good for 700 gallons, filter wool and sponges. Powerhead is Rio 2100 ( its the powerhead that most aquarists suggest in my country ). My tank is clean now but ammonia, nitrate and nitrite had a spike. Is this normal?

the filter is normal but not the spike. did you cycle the tank before adding fish?
