Hospital tank/growout for very small cichlids, can't explain enough how easier life is when you have a tank to quarantine fish. I learned the hard way before when I had an Oscar who on being introduced to the main tank, developed ich, infected the rest; then after being treated dying a couple of weeks later to what I suspect was parasites. I currently have a <1 inch JD in my 10g just now that I got 2 days ago, he'll bein there for a couple of weeks while I check for illness and let him grow to join the 55
