None of you seem to understand the inherent powers of eating your fish. I once consumed a 12 inch oscar and I gained its strength and power :headbang2. I fear no net and consume everything that can fit in my mouth
Thats funny.
But i ate a big pet fish that died from a f u-k up. tasted good.:grinno:
And no problems.
Think they just don't want you to eat them LMAO.

Well, on common wormers (Levamisole, Praziquantel, etc.) you will find the same warning "not for human consumption" or "not for use in food fish" but that's just because the FDA hasn't given the "ok" for that particular use of the drug. Both Levamisole and Praziquantel are used for humans when they get a particular type of worm, but this is a prescription from a medical doctor.

Well I'm never trying it. lol

I have some fish that I don't really want anymore I had my tank set up for them and now I want to make a community tank and I can't find anyone to sell them to what to do

Have you tried advertising on craigslist? I have also found that my Local Petco takes fish from people. I would call them first though to make sure they will take them. Also you can put a ad up at your local LFS.

Whatever you do DO NOT dump them in local water

Best solutions have been mentioned, ad in the Marketplace here to give them away, ad on craigslist to give away, pet store for credit/free.

If you must euthanize, the freezer is probably the least stressful.

Don't overlook the garbage disposal though.. Really it's over in an instant, and the evidence is taken care of as well...

Seriously, depending on the fish, you can give it to a bigger fish as food.

My gf had some guppies she no longer wanted, my kf, bichir and ABF were more than happy to take off her hands
