welp, it was eating great, so I decided to put it in the 210. Everything was fine, nobody bothering it, and it even ate a couple pellets right after putting it in. Checked on it this morning and torn cadual fin again :irked:

I'll either have to divide a section off in the 210 for it or put it in the 40B. I just replaced the 55 it was in w/ a 75 and I'm not going to divide it off and put it back in there. Which option is the best? I know it really needs much larger than a 1 or 2x2x2 section or a 40B, but I don't have many options.
i had this problem with my first ever tat. i could not for the life of me figure out who was picking on him. i found out after watching him after the lights went off, he was the one that started picking fights with everyone. after a while he would try to kill anyone in his tank (big or small).

oops, I spelled caudal wrong.

I didn't get a chance to watch it w/ the lights out, but I will tonight. Last time, it was the ornate that was picking on it. It never picked on anything in the 55, though, just chased fish away if it didn't like them being close.

I am going to move most of the fish from the 40 to the 75 tonight, so I'll put it in the 40. It will be w/ a small IT, small juruense and possibly a 5" marbled goby since I think it will be able to eat the congo tetras (none of them will eat anything besides shrimp and tilapia). I've seen the jardini attack it before in broad daylight, so it's def not going in the 75.

The night I posted the last time, it ate more tilapia than I thought it could and last night, it ate a bunch of shrimp, although not as much as the night before. The tears actually appear to be healing and it seems to be doing fine. It hangs out on one side of the tank while most of the other fish hang out on the other side. The jag does come over some and the tat swims away, but I have seen no real aggression. I think it's going to be fine this time, but only time will tell.

Crossing my fingers....
Thanks for all the help and everything.
