Keeping baby Red Eared Sliders alive takes a lot of work. Go to
www.austinturtlepage.com, which is an excellent group for turtles and look up the Care Sheet for Red Eared Sliders (in the Big Pond forum). Babies need very clean water, fairly warm temperatures, but not too hot, and an almost all protein diet. They need a basking spot out of the water, and a UV and heat bulb. Once they are a year old they start eating more vegetables. Adult RES's eat mostly vegetables, and just a little animal protein. Please don't give them white rice.
