Hi all, my Bleheri is about 4 inch had started to give them feeder but looks like they are too big, can i feed them sea monkeys?

My bleheri love earth worms and mussles, also they will eat pellets. Mine will not eat feeders, dont think its part of the diet in the wild.

hi i gave them, live bloodworms but looks like they are not eating don't know why and my second bleheri just pass away, something is not right

I feed mosquito larvae, feeder guppy. or try feeding him with sliced chunks of fish( make sure it fits on his mouth. now you have to pry the chunk into a thin stick and rub it into his nose.

if nothing happens then there must be really something wrong with your water or the channa is not acclimated to it yet.

Hi,

bleheri, like the most dwarf channa, are not the born fishhunters.
Give him a crustacean/insect diet. And dont feed too much.
Channa can stand long periods without food, some species seem to need these periods for their health, especially some subtropical ones.

What temperature do you have in the tank, and hows it decorated, pleas show a pic.

hi guys this is the setup i have, no life plant only artificial and have holes for them to take cover

they finish the first packet of feeder guppy and when i realise the second batch they only ate abit and i can see every two to three day one or two feeder guppy will die, two possiblity is the feeder are infected or my water already infected, water temp 30 to 31 degree.

i now still setting up a life plant aquarium when they are pair up, bought 6 now left with 4. Two die, one with blotted tummy.
