If we were talking about African lungfish I would agree however I have found SA lungfish to be extremely docile

So I may have stumbled onto getting an elong to do solo 6-7" I know plants may be difficult since they are kind of insane but still.

I would say you have about a 20% it will work lol...if u stick with anubias, java fern ect on the driftwood shouldnt be bad

I think the gars would accidentally take rips out of the plants and if there were a lot of rooted ones the bichirs might pull them out....i could be wrong tho

planted gar tank isnt a bad idea. looks nice too ive had a
6x6x19" planted with floridas,cubans and tropicals. looked
sweet and no issues with plants either.
