WHAT to STOCK!? =o

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It all Depends of species But I wouldent go over 8/9 inches

One sugestion for stocking african butterfyfish are really cool I have a pair If you can find any there great topwater fish but they will eat smaller fish like neons or small dainos

Id keep two black Calvus I like that idea. I would also use the overflow as an opportunity to build a sump that would be fun. You don't have to buy a 10 gallon you can buy a rubber maid :) say a 20 gallon bin ;0

Butterfly fish grow to 5".
You could probably keep 2 of them, but they will be mean to any other surface dwellers.

I would keep them with a chocolate doradid if you are looking for a sizeable fish

Definitely want to go with two butterfly fish. THough this restricts me now to aquascape the tank for the African region the butterfly fish come from. I usually do all set ups naturally to the region the fish come from and want to stick with fish from that region. Ok so I am going with the two African Butterfly fish, now this red wolf fish, is from where? I can't find alot of info on it since so many fish are mislabled wolf fish. How big do they get, what region are they from? And if it isn't Africa, I need a new fish to add with the Butterflys, I haven't checked on the chocolate Doradid yet but I love how they look. Anything with a decent size that can still be kept in a 30. (The 8'' 9'' margin).

I would go with a tire-track or peacock eel. They have great personalities and really interesting. They arn't from africa though. If you want some fish from africa you could go with a few smaller synodotis catfish. Someone correct my spelling of synodotis, i knew i butchered it. :D
