What too put with a dovii?

I'm moving here soon and I'll be getting a tank for a dovii, but I don't want just him so is there any other tank mates like a pleco i could put in there? Or some other cichlid that wont die with him.

It's really hit or miss.. some have got lucky and kept them with others.. some have not.

all depends on the tank size, if it is large, then you can get away with a pleco possibly

As mentioned it's hit and miss with Dovii. Every one of them has the ability to kill at will. When asking questions, you should give a few details of your setup (<--read tank size) so people can give you more accurate replies. If you have a 'tankmate aggressive' dovii, you might still be able to get away with a few convicts if you build them a rock or driftwood pile. GL

Well the tank was going too be around 150. So it might actually not be big enough for a dovii and a few mates. What is a smaller parachromis that I could put in there? I really like the motaguense colors.
