Hey there guys!
I'm new here and I'm looking forward to sharing ideas with you.
Anyway, the thing is I am planning to buy an Arowana. I've been wanting that years ago but I haven't got a tank back then. Now, I have A 90-gallon tank and I'm still undecided what type of Arowana I should buy.
Can you give me some suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to MFK!!!

I'm afraid you won't get too many recommendations for placing an arowana in a 90 gal. The smaller species (S. jardini and S. leichardti) both grow to over 24" and require a minimum 240 gallons to maintain them. The standard 18" front-to-back measurement of 90 gal tanks is way too restrictive for any of these large active swimmers.

If you want something similar that'll be completely fine in a 90 gallon tank, get an African Butterfly fish.

As for an arowana, you should really get a much larger tank before considering one.

+1
They have an arowana look to them and are much smaller :)

Any arowana will very quickly outgrow your tank unfortunately

I had a African butterfly and there are very cool, I love the look of them and there cool when they dart to grab a worm.

Unfortunately it come to a gruesome end when it ended up in the gullet of a silver aro

Thumbs down to that

Welcome. A 90 is only good for a grow out for a few months. I would personally not get one unless you have something in the 250g and up. It's a fish that I always love. I have a 135gallon and that is still too small to keep any kind of arowana in it. If you're set on getting one than I hope you have a monster tank waiting for it when it grows big.

Even 240G still small for Silver Arowana :)
I hope you don't ignore our advises and bought Arowana and "plan" to upgrade your tank later, It's never work out that way.

Thanks everyone for informing me that. I think you're right. It'll be a big problem for me if it grows bigger. I checked the African butterfly and I thinks it's a good alternative. How big will they grow?
