What Type of Arowana Should I Buy?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Omnivore flakes would be good, maybe something like a mix of normal and mbuna flakes since mbuna are vegetarian I believe

Roselines are omnivores, so I would not feed them just brine shrimp, Some cooked spinach and peas, lettuce etc should be offered as well. Any fish will do better on fresh than dried, as far as I know, but I would offer flakes every now and then just in case there is some nutrient I am neglecting.

I think giving flakes and fresh food alternatively will be more practical for me.
How frequent should I feed the Roseline barbs? I already bought flakes and decorations.

Thanks everyone for informing me that. I think you're right. It'll be a big problem for me if it grows bigger. I checked the African butterfly and I thinks it's a good alternative. How big will they grow?
agree with those stuff buddies! need a bigger one i think, but if you think just want to try yourself. Just do it, when the time is coming, just move him to the bigger tank LOL

Thanks, J.H.

I have never kept them, but imagine the care should be the same for more or less everything else. For best results 2 or 3 small feedings a day, skipping one day a week. There are many other opinions on how to feed your fish, but this is what I do.

I feed 3-5 times a week to cut down on WC due to my current situation, what J J. H. Said is good but just watch water quality :)
