Baby silvers do not have the black / yellow lines.

The video below shows 3 week old baby SILVER Arowanas. They look like the OP's fish to me...stripes and all.

You've never seen a silver at that size then. Those are silver arowana.

Those are silvers, it's easy to see why they are commonly mistaken. Only those who owned baby black arows can tell difference.

So very surprised at how many people in this thread have no clue that these are not black arowana, just compare the the OP's pics to a pic of a baby black. Very easy to see one has a black stripe on a pale body whereas the other has a yellow stripe on a black body
