what type of payara this be?

looks like nothin i have seen before. not sure were it was fished out of but it dont look like others. what you guys think?

yea, its teeth though arnt armatus like, and its anal fin isnt as large as armatus and the scales in this fish seem to be diffrent in armatus.

Different part of the river.... Different variation. Just like the pretty largemouth basses..... :ROFL::ROFL:
 
Ok... Uncharted to OUR trade. Yup variation is always out there.... But it's hard to ID things that we've never had the chance to lay eyes on. Could be a new species, could be a variation. Put a few in my tank and I'll tell you what I think....LOL :)
 
Is there a way for you to get the picture any bigger or show more of the pic so we can see more of its body?
 
first thing that came to mind was wallacei

ive seen pics b4, they r very similar to scombs

dnt think its a cynodon cos the dorsal's too far forward on fishing fish. looks more like that wallacei, heads small proportionatly to body compared to tats/scomb. pretty cool looking actually.
