the fins are a good indication and a better picture would be whats needed with a good shot of the tail and mouth.
i still think its a dent but not 100% without a better pic
Definately a piranha, I am not good at IDing them but from the mouth and esp. the white margin to the anal fin I would guess S. denticulas, so far it is the only one I have found with it.
Im leaning towards denticulatus as well. If the teet werent sharp i would guess
it as a wimple piranha (catoprion mento) , one of the false piranhas out there.
Definitely not a wimple, they have very sharp teeth also but a truly distintive chin and long dosral fin, (I like them because you can keep about 3 of them in a 29g tank, you will need soft, acidic water).
Again, look at the white margin of the anal fin, as far as I can tell denticulas are the only ones with that feature, ternetzi have a dark margin there.
