What type of Pleco is this??

They fit the Oscar slot around here. Bought small, returned huge and priced to move. Eventually they are *removed* if they just never sell. One time I asked who bought a huge one and I got a , "Well..." kind of response. So it didn't die and it didn't get sold. They must have offed it in desperation.

But they are usually priced around 15 bucks in hopes they might sell.

Mine is 10-12" long and I paid $14 for him when he was about 9" long.

Also keep in mind that the larger they get, the more their taste for slimecoat develops. They will suck the slime coat right off of sleeping fish.

This is only true if the pleco is not being fed. Some owners think plecos only need to eat algae off the glass, thus leaving a hunger pleco to find it's own food.
