What type of sunfish is this?

I tried the other thread that was made for this purpose but I wasn't able to get a definite answer. I caught this thing a while back at a small pond. Can anyone tell me what it is? My friend said a crappie but I'm not so sure about that as I've never seen a crappie like that before so I don't really think it is one.

I'm in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Crappie have smaller lips - my votes for warmouth too

Based on research it could be either or. I tend to think warmouth simply because it is a bit more narrow than the green hybrid pictures I've seen.

the face pattern screams warmouth but body shape and rest of body color don't. best guess warmouth x green the pectoral fins look alot like my greens in coloration

It's a warmouth - green sunfish have a black spot on the tail end of the dorsal, just like a bluegill.
