DO YOU PREFER Acrylic or Glass?

you should have mix of both as an option though. many people here own both.

I picked glass because I have no experience with acrylic.. all my tanks have always been glass.

I'm a glass guy myself However I woul not be against a acrylic tank but it has to be at least 600 gal. B/c I don' think I could get enough people to move another tank over 500 gal that's glass. No one would help again. They allreay told me that if I move I have to hire someone to do it next time.

so glass under 600 gal and acrylic over just b/c it's lighter.

i prefer glass. i use sand in all my tanks and acrylic would scratch to easy.

i have glass simply because its cheap... for the life of me i can not/do not understand how people scratch tanks up so bad... fish scuffing up a tank i understand... but i really do not understand how people scratch them up so bad...

ill be picking up an acrylic tank in a few months.. my guess is i will put a few very small scratches on it... one of them will be intentional just to see what it takes to scratch it...
