Oh man, I almost forgot the weirdest. It was a 3.5' atlantic wolf eel, flyfishing stinky beach in OC. at night, and I was wading. It was purple, with darker purple lines on the body, the head was about 10" around, and the mouth was full of very large teeth. I got out of the water.

i caught a eel once from somewhere in southampton uk, it took ages to reel it in from the sea as it was wriggling so much
got a lawn chair one day and a fire estinguisher the next day. same pond the guy had a boat sink the year before. and also have got atleast three catfish on someone elses line or rig. i thought one was a real good one it was about six pounds but was pulling it in by its tail/or sidways
i caught a bin, a boot and 2 catfish with barbs that seem to make you go numb for days, lol they are inb my fishtank atm can anyone help me out with this please
I dont know if this counts as Caught but me n my GF where walkin along the beach on Valentines day and spot a little reef fish about 4cm thrashing about 2 metres from the shore line. So i emptied out my bottle of iced tea scoop it up and filled it with water to have a look at it. And it's this mad blood red colour stone fish with hectic spines all over it. After looking at it we set it free, you know bein valentines and all. (If only i had a marine tank) The weekend after we were fishing at Nelson Bay when i guy next to us caught the same fish but twice the size. It turned out to be a Red rock cod.This guy doubled over in pain just secs after coming in contact with it's mad spines that i was admiring the week before.
And i caught a Fortesque the same fashion but in a big glass jar and the ocean baths.

The coolest thing was probably a black tip reef shark. Ummmm, for unusual, I dunno, don't know if I've caught much unusual things. My younger brother when he was like 5 fell of a rock wall into the water, we got him out and he was crying, but it sooned turned into laughter because he had a small shrimp stuck to his chest. He caught the only thing that day, lol. My younger cousin has also caught a ladies bikini top....when it was attached to the woman, lol.
